Biography:
Scarlett Smyth is a British working class artist living in Bristol, UK. Scarlett’s portfolio spans film, installation, Collage, sound and poetry, with her most recent sound sculpture Paradise Island available to stream on BBC Sounds.Having graduated in 2018 with a BA Fine Art from The University Of The West Of England inBristol, she has since worked on numerous creative projects including her short film Daily Cycle for Channel 4 and Rachael Clerke’s Transactionland. Scarlett has also worked in TV production, art engagement and as a creative producer.

To try to help the next generation of artists and creatives, Scarlett has also dedicated herself to numerous youth panels consulting on diversity and inclusion with other young people for various organisations within Bristol, including Bristol Museums, The Creative Youth Network and SpikeIsland.​
